My name is Eric James Hodges and I am a realism tattoo artist located in Cadillac, Michigan. As the owner of Limitless Ink Tattoo Studio, I value all styles of tattooing; however my specialty is realism with an emphasis on surrealism art.
The journey of becoming a tattoo artist began in 2018. The moment I touched skin, I was hooked on learning everything I could about the medium of flesh. I am a self taught tattoo artist and enjoy learning every aspect of the industry from historical to technical, as well as transformational (as a service) and operational (as a business).
Over the last few years, I have studied all styles of realism, using both color and transparent grays, in preparation for advancing my art form. In my opinion, surrealism is the highest form of realism art and is where my heart as an artist thrives. I believe tattooing is an honoring and sacred experience for clients and artis no matter the size, style, or purpose of the tattoo. In addition to making sure all of my clients have a safe, sterile environment, my goal is to produce high quality work while providing comfort and an upbeat experience.
On a personal note, as a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, much of what drives my passion and inspires my work ethic is due to the experience and training of the Corp. As a husband and father, I value the ongoing support I receive from my wife and aim to be a model of genuine, hard work and integrity for my daughter.
